Canon Did You Know!
Share
Over the years, Canon technicians have attended hundreds of call outs for apparent machine failures only to find that
the customer has used third party or counterfeit inks that have destroyed the machine’s printhead along with the ink
feeding mechanism and a number of other important parts. This often results in customers having to purchase a whole
new printer as the damage is so extensive, that a repair simply isn’t possible or financially viable. Any savings that
customers hope to make by using “cheap” ink cartridges can be completely wiped out and they often end up paying
far more overall – a false economy if ever there was one!
Non-genuine inks have not been manufactured and tested to the strict quality standards of genuine Canon products.
All Canon components are subject to severe performance tests to emulate real-world use and are manufactured in
factories conforming to ISO14001 standards.
